Conduct & Reporting Rules

Everyone is responsible for their own conduct

HVS provides technical tools for communication. You are responsible for what you say and do. 18+ verified does not mean any content or activity is allowed.

Not allowed (anywhere, including private rooms)

Illegal content; anything sexual involving minors (reported to authorities); harassment, threats, hate, doxxing; non-consensual sexual content; scams and off-platform payment requests; impersonation; recording, capturing or sharing anyone's voice or conversation without their explicit consent. HVS cannot technically prevent recording with another device.

In every private room

Leave now (instant), Block, Report, Support. You can report after leaving, from the room page or your bookings.

What a report contains

Who was in the room, the room reference, time, category and your description. No audio exists (HVS doesn't record). Do not upload recordings of the other person unless the law allows you to.

How we handle reports

  1. Urgent (threats, someone may be under 18): priority queue, target first review within 1 hour in staffed hours; immediate feature suspension possible; refer to emergency services/authorities where required (e.g. NCMEC/CSAM reporting duties).
  2. Suspension: staff restrict the feature ; the user is removed from any live private room immediately and cannot rejoin. Logged.
  3. Appeal: via Support ("Appeal a decision"); reviewed by a different staff member; reasoned answer (DSA statement of reasons where applicable).
  4. Authority requests: legal review, verify validity, disclose minimum data, log, notify the user unless prohibited.
  5. Staff access: only a small number of authorised staff can see safety data. They never see your date of birth or ID, and every access is logged.
